"I have been a seeker and I still am, but I stopped asking the books and the stars.
I started listening to the teaching of my Soul."

I started listening to the teaching of my Soul."

This beautiful young female was the inspiration for my painting, "Soul Journey".
Phoenix' mother, Eclipse is a sister to this black girl's mother. I find it fascinating that these two female wolves and two hc wolfdogs represent a common lineage and Ancestry... This theme is one of a few threads that I follow on my own Soul's journey of healing. I have been approached by and called to heal some of my Ancestor Spirits with the help of Wolf in particular. - When we look at the world in the manner which the Great Spirit designed it, we can see why it makes sense to live in harmony with it: the trees grow and bear fruit, the fruit has seeds, the seeds fall to the ground, the ground grows new trees, old trees die to make way for the young. Any time we think we can interrupt this cycle or change it we will experience turmoil and confusion. The Human Cycle exists as the baby becomes the youth, the youth becomes the adult, the adult has children, the adult becomes the Elder, and the Elder teaches the youth. Elders go on to the Spirit World. Spirit comes into babies to produce new life. Flow into the flow. Be the path of least resistance. - teach me to just flow with the river of life People's comments and reactions: - a spirit wolf, "bursting" into being... like stepping into the earthly realm from some other spirit realm. It gets a bit gusty, and there's a glow of light, and in a swirl of light and air he appears - forming out of the formless light into the world with the blessings of the spirit world (feathers) around him. - courageous, daring, a willingness to challenge the unknown, the intrepid explorer - knowing, returning, vigilance, guardian - relationship between wolf, stars and energy, light - wolf medicine from the Void - intense eyes sharing a feeling of peacefulness - The world sees spirit and is humbled before it's power, bowing down in respect, honoring it's presence - the " whirlwind of life " that surrounds the changing world that wolves live in - essence, power, grace, the Wolf Spirit soars high above. It keeps watch over us and gives us guidance and wisdom. with me everywhere I go. - I see the painting as something that actually happened to me... ;) The wolf (as a concept, or energy) spiraled down to my own center, to change who I am and deepen my understanding of the Universe - It reminds me a little of Ouroboros - the cosmic snake that eats its own tail in an unending cycle of the universe. The eyes and posture feel like it wants to move forward, to the left of the painting, but the stars, whirlpool, and fluttering feathers keep pushing it to rotation. It is calmly waiting until cosmic forces shift so that it may continue down a new path, till then it will gently nudge, waiting patiently. - you have received and made a beautiful image, which for me speaks of the intensity of awareness of the wolf, it's single pointed focus through the eyes ears and nose! It also has an Otherworld feel with the beautiful flowing lines adding to the sense of movement and purpose. The colors are likewise ethereal and the whole is so evocative of the experience of journeying with the spirits. - Wow, reminded me of a long journey though the galaxy… as my dear friend says,,,, we follow the scent of the wolf. Or can, if we are paying attention in the moment - the eyes of the Wolf speak to me about power and beauty...there is also a feeling of kindness...I feel the Wolf is on His/Her journey of Purpose. - It does tend to speak to me, but in ways that I cannot explain. evocative of each person's individual Soul Journey. - What if you felt inspired to enjoy your journeys? Imagine how much abundance would start to flow into your life! We usually refer to life as a "journey" but when we think about it, we take many journeys throughout our lifetime. A journey is a trip, or "the act of traveling from one place to another." Within that definition, every day of our lives there are truly so many different journeys that we all embark upon. As long as we have to make them and follow them every day, why not consider an invitation to enjoy them? We are all on incredible journeys, we manage our personal lives, we raise our children, we start new businesses, we handle our health challenges and navigate family conflicts - these are all journeys. So if you made a commitment to "enjoy your journeys" rather than despise them, dread them or simply endure them, life would just feel easier and the time would flow smoothly. We'd certainly have more fun. My choice is to stop struggling, enjoy my journeys and watch abundance show up in amazing ways. Ease and fun - these are definitely two things I want more of in my life! |

had a wolf god "Wepwawet" whose name meant "he who opens the road." He led kings in battle. His image was carried through the streets of the town Assiut during their annual feast. |
